I just got my Elwood yesterday.
Damn it plays like a dreams. The neck is so smooth and comfortable. The action is really low and zero fretbuzz. It weighs almost nothings. Jesus this bass is comfortable..
It sounds incredible. Punchy, aggressive just the way i like it with tons of growl.
I don't think i have any intentions of buying any other brand ever again. I have two Maruszczyk basses so far, a fretless passive Frog and now a fretted active Elwood. All that's left is a passive jake to complete my inverntory

Elwood specs
Alder body
Maple burl top in turquoise blue
Roasted birdseye maple neck and fretboard
Hipshot hardware
Haussel humbuckers
Delano preamp

Frog specs
Ash body
Bubinga top
5 piece wenge maple neck
Rosewood fretboard and ramp
Hipshot hardware
Bassculture humbucker in the bridge

Congratulations!

What about the pickups?

I don't know much about Led Zep, but I dig your version!

So how did you come up with the arrangement and how long did you practice with the Maruszczyk gentlemen before the video shoot?

i've seen how such videos are shot.

My guess is not much practice whatsoever.

Thanks for the compliment

Adrian and I got together for about an hour the day before to work out the arrangement ... Then met up the next day to record and film, that took about 90 minutes as well.

The recording took no time at all but the post production work Adrian puts into the sound and video quality takes some time. Adrian puts out super high quality videos and when I saw the finished product, even I was blown away.

I'm sure we'll do another next time I'm in Germany and admittedly, I can't wait :)
