The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

Is it a trick of the camera, or do the headstocks on the two Cazpars have slightly different shapes? I love the idea that a human might have formed them.

Do the bodies have any variation?

I think it is just camera angles and the fact that the logos are different on each one. Interesting that the logos are different since i didn't request that but I am cool with it. They look about the same size as do the bodies. I would think that there is some hand sanding/finishing going on though

Thanks for the bonus pics. I didn't notice the different logos. I like them both, but especially the one with the icon fruit.

I received my Cazpar's last night and had some time to inspect and play them for a little while. I am more than impressed with them and zero regrets on ordering both. Both are nice and light. The black one weighs in at 6.9lbs and the Spalted Maple weighs 7.2lbs. Both have 38mm nut, carbon rods, 14" fretboard radius, monorail bridge w/18mm spacing and Hipshot tuners. The action is perfect on both with no buzz. Today after work I will have more time to play them at higher volume levels and get a better idea on how to set my controls on both with my rig. I would not hesitate to buy another bass from Adrian in the future. :bassist:

Congratulations on those two beautiful bass guitars. I personally think they look so much better with the Joker headstock. I have 2 Elwoods and one Cazpar wish it was other way around. Then I bought mine they didn't have the configurator yet. There price have come up a bit since I purchased mine too. After seeing yours I'm tempted to purchase another Cazpar. Enjoy your babies . Like that there so light weight. What type of pickup are under the woodcovers? Did you get the Delano sonar preamp?.......Rock On

Thank you Bigal! Yes i like the Joker headstock also. The pickups with the wood covers are the Domanski PU's that Adrian offers...very clean. Still messing with the tones and my rig. I have the Delano sonar 3 in the Spalted one and the Black one has the Sonar 2 in it. I like the electronics so far.

Nice, all my basses from public peace have sonor pre amps one if my Elwoids has the 2 band pre. They sound pretty awesome in passive mode too. Lots of tone.
