Indeed, Adrian told me it would take about 4 months. But my bass was delivered in 8 weeks.

I have been told the same on a couple of orders, and within 10 weeks my couch shot was sent.....I'm 8 weeks into my latest order....and expect at least another 4 before I hear something. Which is good, because I need to unload a bunch of parts and equipment before then.
I'm probably a couple months away from getting an Adamovic. Nikola told me at the beginning of the process that it would probably be close to a year between the time I put the first money down to the time the bass is completed. I'm not anxious, and I'm confident it will be worth the wait.
Just like I was not anxious about my Frog, and confident it would be worth the wait. And boy-o-boy, was it ever!
Yeah, I was quoted 15 weeks on both so I'm not worried about it and just patiently waiting. All of the stories from others getting them well under the quoted time is encouraging. 
I did have some pretty custom things on the Paddock so it could be 15 or maybe a little more if ETS is behind.

I'm at 12 weeks on my fretless Pike w ramp, was told it would be another few weeks - I was spoiled by 10-week deliveries on all my others the prior two years!
Imagine that, I was expecting another 4 weeks, and just recieved a message from Randy at Bass Spotlight that my Mopped B is done and ready to ship.
Got my couch shot this morning from Randy, so just shy of 13 weeks.
Rushes to check e-mail, and then remembers it has only been a little more than 5 weeks.

It was 9 weeks from order date to couch shot.
The actual photo definitely looks better than the mockup, moving the pickup closer to the bridge and that light colored veneer looks great in there.

At 5wks in last week I was asked for more detailed dimensions for my pickup placement. So hopefully not too much longer, but was quoted 15wks so could be another 9-10wks. Not worried, I'm also building another new headless myself, so that will arrive next week 
Thanks for the mock-up (again) and side-by-side. I like how the ramp has some lighter streaks to complement the alder body and that the Wenge headstock grain aligns with the tuning posts!
Yeah that bass turned out fantastic, I love the Wenge and pickup placement. I can't tell, is it fretless?
Yes, with ghost lines. My first fretless instrument since elementary school violin ;-)

Fantastic video and nice update to the original video showing a bigger shop and some nice tech upgrades… although also nice to see it's still 90% expert luthier skill bringing these instruments to life.
My 2 favorite scenes are
1) the famous couch photo behind the scenes shot…
2) the filling out of the certificate with feline assistance (paws entering from the left)
Is it wrong that my favorite scene was when the 7-foot high stack of product was teetering on the pallet jack?
