The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

The "couch shot" colors are NOT always accurate. I don't know why....but here is my latest build that should be shipped to me by the end of this week. I ordered a blue-green burst. The couch shot appears blue. I questioned the color and Adrian sent a cellphone shot which clearly shows a different color. Closer to what I ordered (but not as much burst as I really wanted)....still I will like it. 1st shot is the configurator, 2nd is the couch shot and the 3rd is the cellphone shot that was sent to me.

The configurator and your picture are much closer, I've experienced the same as it seems like they brighten the blues on the couch photos and are not accurate at all.

beautiful bass by the way!

I own other Marus and Mensinger basses, but for this one I wanted to go back to basics and just have a "Fender-killer" Jazz bass. Old school vintage Aguilar J pickups, passive -for now, V-V-T

Yeah that's really nice with that top definitely a Fender-Killer. Passive should be awesome with that, I love Aguilars in passive mode I've had then passive in Jazz basses before and that's my goto pickup… they sound the same when kicking in my OBP3 preamps with no difference in volume, very nice.

Druuuummm roooooollllll….

And the angels begin singing

I'll be in the studio tonight and tomorrow so will get some quality time with it and will report back with insights… NBD Post here

First impressions - neck is way thinner than the Cazpar (nice) and plays very fast and smooth, sounds great with a really broad tonal spectrum, and it's much more light weight than expected (goodness). It also came in a much nicer bag than my others.

That may be the "wait 8 months and get an upgraded bag" bag.

Which color did you choose? I believe that your color is what I choose also, but the photos that Adrian/Randy Riley sent don't look like that...hmmm!
