The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

@BaileyMan, @fourstr00
Did you order directly from Adrian or one of the dealers? I know @TK4261 placed an order through Randy two days after I placed my order with him but I have no word about my build at the moment. Just curious.
I ordered through Randy. I emailed him once for an update around the expected completion date, and then again about a month later.

He's great to deal with and I'm sure gets tons of emails from folks asking where their bass is, and I wanted to be mindful of that.

Different builds take different amounts of time for different reasons, is what I'm gathering.

Thanks for the responses to my question. I want to respect Randy's time and business so I hadn't contacted him at all since July when I received his confirmation that my order was placed. He had mentioned at that time that the expected completion date for my bass is Nov 1, but also said it could be earlier because it's not a complicated build. When word came from @TK4261 that another bass ordered within a couple of days of mine is completed I got curious as to whether mine might be finished as well. No big deal if not of course, it will be eventually. But I got pretty excited nonetheless :thumbsup:.

Just got my couch pic:

I saw that. Looks good, and the price seems pretty good. I don't like how the route is bigger than the pickups, I thought maybe they weren't original, but if they're mec, I guess they probably are. I bet it would be nice, especially for what they're asking.

Beautiful mock-up!

You know, looking at that photo, I bet if both strap pins were placed about an inch lower, it would shift enough of the weight back relative to the strap that it could mitigate a significant portion of whatever neck dive there is.

I just ordered an Elwood L 5 string headless bass. I'm a JB enthusiast! I do a lot of flying and having a bass that's guitar size really helps. I have a Kiesel Osiris headless. It doesn't sound like a JB. There Thanos is close but I don't like the esthetics. Pretty much for the same price, I can really pick what I want? I've only seen a 4 string done . Are there any more pictures of Headless Elwoods? Here's a picture that I made in the configurator. Can't do headless but you get the point! Ash Body, Roasted maple neck and fingerboard with Black binding and blocks. Delano SC pups with wood ramp in between pups. ETS Headless bridge. Recessed knobs.
