Behold, my new Cazpar! Passive electronics, roasted maple neck with matte finish. Body and headstock are gloss. Katalox fingerboard. Weighs in at 7.0 lb on the bathroom scale.

And of course I couldn't possibly have changed strings without supervision.

We're well into the bonding experience now .

I've been playing with 6 strings in the configurator. So far this is my front runner. Not sure of what electronics yet, but I like the overall look. I keep going back and forth with natural wood vs. transparent color over wood.

I think those are the Bassculture humbuckers with the exposed posts, but I could be wrong.

Also -- I HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER! No couch shot which is a minor bummer but I didn't expect one when buying stock.

Here is the final design. Randy at Bass Spotlight was very helpful recommending some tweaks to what I had put together.
Going to sleep on the design tonight and give the go ahead on the order in the morning.

Check availability on the Nordstrand’s now my order was delayed 5mos due to Nordstrand not shipping Zen blades out within a reasonable timeframe.

My Elwood 5 has the Delano Times Square pickups in combination with the Sonar 3, very transparent tone. Perhaps you can substitute the Nordstrand with the Delano. Also I heard rumors that the Nordstrand are manufactured now in China and the quality is not the same. So check on that too.

Dig it! Sounds PHAT! And I'm a fan of the tobacco burst finish. It's way nicer in real presentation than the image in the configurator.

Sorry to hear that. I had no idea anything like that would happen, but it is one of the reasons I ordered Delanos when ordered my Frog last year. I figured they'd have an easier time getting pickups if they were made in Europe.

Of course, I ordered Hipshot hardware on it too, so I ran the risk of Maruszczyk not being able to get the Hipshot stuff in a timely manner if they didn't already have it in stock.

Received my couch pic this morning for my 30" Jake double P...Looks like they might have forgotten to add my Aquilar pre-amp though...Should have 4 knobs and a side jack...Randy is looking into it right now..it might have to be sent back to the shop.
