I've had a 5 string PJ Jake sitting in the closet because I've only been playing my 4. Well, I'll be playing some songs that benefit from a 5 this weekend, and when I pulled out the Jake it didn't disappoint. I forgot just how good this thing sounds and how smooth it plays. Truly a lot of bass for the price! Highly recommended!

Hello! I just paid the balance on my second Cazpar this morning. I bought my first one used off GC last year and loved it which led to the late night impulsive order of the second. I love minimalist basses and you can see that reflected in my choices haha

Adrian sent me a tax importer form, which apparently is new. I was just wondering— has anyone dealt with this and/or tariffs yet?

If anyone is still looking for this, the Gator GWE-EXTREME works for the Frog Pi. I couldn't find it on the Gator website the first time I looked because it is only listed for guitars, which seems like a marketing flaw.

The body section is a couple of inches bigger than the bass body, but this can be easily fixed with padding.

But gotta wonder, why would you not want a zero fret?

It kind of ensures low action and potential for a great setup.

I am curious about that also as I am 11 weeks into my custom 32" Cazpar wait and I have already paid for mine through Randy at The Bass Spot.
I just sent him a message asking if he knows. I will report back when he responds.

I paid around 17% in import costs two weeks ago. Which I'm guessing is 7% local tax plus 10% tariffs.

Very unfortunate that the USD lost a lot of value compared to the Euro and then the tariffs happened right when I was about to receive it.

I wonder if there would have been as much of an impact if using a dealer vs going direct. It all comes down to who absorbs the cost.

I heard back from Randy at The Bass Spotlight and he said there will be no extra cost to the price through him but that being said, I always get a import duties tax bill from FedEx here in the USA west coast for around $60 a week after getting a custom order from Public Peace.
