I don't know if it's because of the photo, but the 3rd string looks a little off center.
But the inlay looks well centered.
It might just look like that in the photo.

Hey guys, quick question. It's still a long while until I can expect a sofa shot, but does the order status on the website ever change from 'ordered' to anything else? Is it radio silence until they're ready to ship?

I don't order directly through the website, but through a dealer, so I don't know much about the process on the website.
I think it would be best to send Adrian a daily message for more details.
I'm sorry I can't give you a detailed answer.
In my experience - which admittedly is a few years back, I now realise - it was radio silence until the sofa shot.
And from what I've read since, this is Adrian's standard modus operandi. You just have to find a coping mechanism.
You can chase him up with emails, of course, but you'll just get "a couple of weeks or so" vagueness.
Speaking of which, you can take this empty sofa shot I mocked up while I was waiting for mine, and insert your own daydreams while you wait...

Generally, if there is going to be a delay due to hardware delays like pickups or bridges, he will communicate that ahead of time. Going through a dealer will make this a little bit easier because they'll be aware of hardware delays ahead of time. They may have a number of orders that may be delayed due to hardware shipping delays and will reach out to the folks that have outstanding orders.
When quoted a time, wait until that time has passed before asking if it's done yet

Nah, if I know that that's the way it is, then it's all good. I just keep popping over to the public peace website to look at my bass-to-be and had noticed that it still just said 'ordered'. I'm certainly not going to hassle anyone about it. I'll just sit here and be all....

Hey TK, so this is the build you let the 30" Cazpar go to fund? Looks gorgeous, can't wait to see the couch pic and your review!End of week 13 for the wait of my 32" Cazpar order. I'm hoping for a Couch shot soon. I have some plans for this one. I ordered basic passive electronic specs as I have a set of EMG X pickups and a LHZ (Spector HAZ clone) preamp that I plan on installing in this Cazpar. I requested that the transparent White stain only be applied to the top wood and not the Alder body. I also requested a Paddock shaped headstock because I like the look of the rolled over edges on the Paddock headstocks.
Yes, This is the one.. Hopefully by mid June I should be seeing it.
Finally got to play it live this morning at church. I got 2 kinds of comments...

I agree. This thing is a tone monster. I'm sold on these EMGs and Maruszczyk basses in general.
I also got to play behind my wife on vocals for the first time. All in all, I am a blessed and happy man!

I've been looking at short scale basses for a few months and came across a really nice Elwood L short scale. Closed the deal Sunday and it arrived today so I guess I qualify to join the Official Maruszczyk Club. I had just a few minutes today to check it out and I am happy with it! Will spend some quality time with it this evening.
