It looks like it is just part of the wood grain under the paint. With your Cazpar there is not much grain going on except on the very left side of your Cazpar around the forearm contour and horn. One of my Cazpars below had the same type of grain indents. More prominent on Alder and Ash bodies/tops. Especially with matte finishes. I like to feel the grain but it is more preferable if the grain is consistent and all over the body or top in this case.Hey wondering your thoughts on this. So the new bass came in and I'm a little disappointed how they would let this pass. Maybe it's the wood grain, but still a huge divot right on top to stare at. I emailed Adrian but of course nothing. Maybe I need to paint it. Not sure kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.
