Picked this up for my birthday, very pleased with the tone and sound.

Yeah man, sometimes you just gotta' pay the tab if you want a particular thing. I've learned that as well.My 535 is back home!!!! I traded this bass earlier in the year because it was heavy and I wanted something lighter. What was I thinking!!!! I really missed this bass the whole time that it was gone. The tone is killer, it looks sweet, but just a little on the heavy side. Well I worked it out to get it back and now it back home in my hands. This bass is never leaving me again!!!!

That is one hot bass. Congrats! I'm a big fan of that burst. Could we see pics of that top in the sunlight? I'm itching to see what that would look like.
Buckeye burl? Fantastic. I'm glad you have it back. It's such a great looking bass.
How do you guys get your photos to show up in your post without having to click on anything?
Tony,
Here is another blue burst in the sun.

Can someone tell me their opinion on the following combinations of woods? Northern Ash body; Walnut top; Northern Ash neck; Maple fingerboard. These are the woods that I'm considering for a 5-string MTD bass. I'd love to hear some feedback on what these combinations should sound like. Please give me some feedback... I'd appreciate it.
