The Official MTD USA Thread

Thanks, fellas!

Virgil, no reinforcement - just the Epi rig. In the middle pic, you can actually see the recorder - it's velcroed to my music stand. This bass REALLY speaks in the upper mids & highs. I really notice it when A/B-ing against my 535, which has just ridiculous lows and lower mids.

Nice clips VroomVroom. Man, an MTD speaks like no other!!

That things sucks the life out of the music. Horrible.

You know...I have a certain Roscoe that I would be willing to send your way and I would take that piece of crap in return...just because I'm that type of friend.:D

That thing is king. Of course, you sound great runnin' through that rig and the playing was awesome. I love me some MTD!!

BTW, even though your guitard player looks like Leo DiCaprio, your bass face is better than his pucker.:p

Had a really fun gig on Friday night, and wanted to share why I love the 635 so much. (And it's running MTD strings, so this isn't a total hijack from the post above. :D

Finally, here are a few pics from the gig...

ROFL! Awesome stuff, Tony.

Hilarious...I told him he looks like DiCaprio, and we got a laugh out of it. In person - he looks nothing like the guy. Go figure. Hell of a guitarist...his name is Bill Ireton, btw.

Now, about that Roscoe. Each of the clips above has subliminal messages which state that your armada will not be complete unless you have a Roscoe fretless. So, listen a coupla' more times, and let me know when I can come by for the swap. :D

Man, it sounds like it. Nice clips! I used to play almost exclusively in small heavily improv-oriented groups (mostly jazz) in the 80's and I REALLY miss that. Every time I hear a clip like this it takes me back to those wonderful boundary pushing days.

Nice. Congrats on everything... bass and group. :)

Vic you better be practicing your chops in a real book, things are getting interesting gig wise :D

Awesome! Thanks in advance. I just have this feeling that I'm really going to dig your playing no matter what, but I've been kinda' Jonesing over the TecAmp and haven't had the opportunity to hear one.
You wanna' hear a Tecamp? Dude, I heard the Bad Cab being fed by the Bad Bull head at Messe... lemme tell you, it made a messe me!!! I think I actually became slightly disoriented when he hit the low B! :D

Oh, and the new Bonafide and rear ported 212 is an awesome rig.
