Man I'm still gassing for that NT 535 Ari sold a while ago. Still residing somewhere in France, I believe.

It's definitely a show piece. It may never leave my house! Mike definitely outdid himself here. Don't let the looks fool you. This bass sounds amazing!
So when are you swapping that temporary gold hardware for the real stuff! It's definitely a show piece. It may never leave my house! Mike definitely outdid himself here. Don't let the looks fool you. This bass sounds amazing!

I don't think I'd ever take it out of the house either. I'd be afraid something would happen to it. You're very lucky to have such a beautiful bass.
WOW!!! Intensely beautiful!!I now own the most beautiful MTD that I have ever laid eyes upon...

And don't listen to the folks saying (I assume jokingly) it's too pretty to take out. I gig all my basses everywhere. They are not made of glass for cryin' out loud.Do what you gotta' do to protect it, but it's YOUR bass to enjoy. It's NOT something you need to worry about preserving for the next owner someday. REMEMBER THAT.
Play the hell outa' that thing... literally...![]()
It's an instrument, made to be played. Take it out, play it.
Cheers,
Cameron
...zactly... that's what I meant about doing what you gotta' do to protect it. Otherwise, yeah, to not play this bass at every possible opportunity, would be a huge huge mistake.Exactly. But make sure people wash their hands before they get NEAR it (I do). And wipe that hardware down DAILY...
You may have been joking, but seriously, there's a lot of people who would be that way. You'd be amazed. They spend all that money, but then they store the thing for fear of getting a mark on it. What a waste of money and completely unnecessary source of heartache and guilt. About the LAST thing an artistic type like a musician needs.People take things SO seriously here. I was just saying it's gorgeous. Of course it's made to be played. Play the heck out of it.

Well, in this case, it can be both, but the good news is, it's "functional art", which means you can not only be blown away by it's visual beauty, but you can (and SHOULD) also yank it off the wall and enjoy USING it, too!I would think so. A bass is a tool to make music, not a museum piece.![]()
