Since most Windows computers, Android phones, and web browsers cannot natively open heic images, being able to upload them here would mean a whole lot of users wouldn’t be able to view them.

The Windows/Android HEIC argument is bunk. My Windows PC shows that format just fine, after capturing them with my Galaxy S23U. But because I freakin' love basses so much, I manually edited each of these so they could be resaved as a jpg copy. Here:
