Not completely. Older devices and versions of operating systems (both Android and iOS) sometimes have problems with HEIC. The JPG format has been around long enough to be ubiquitous and pretty much guaranteed to be readable across most device types. (And money spent to upgrade our devices would be better-spent on a new MTD.

…and even if you can view them with some Windows-based image-viewing programs, they still don’t work in most web browsers, which is what we use to read Talkbass.

I’m interested in joining the MTD club, but really have no idea where to start. I’ve tried to go through the thread a bit but haven’t made my through all the pages.
I saw this lovely looking MTD on their Instagram, and was wondering if the owner was on here and would be kind enough to share their thoughts (what made you land in that combination, and what are your thoughts on it compared to your other MTDs).

I ordered mine with their custom A style bridge, as I'm not the biggest fan of the B style
Mike thinks the B style creates more of an open tone, or something like that, right? At least I think that's what I've read somewhere.
Daniel did say there is a tone difference between A and B style. I prefer the A, but on a new spec build Daniel told me to go B.

Mine delivered with the A style; which is a very solid, well designed bridge.
I replaced it with a B style, mainly for weight saving. But, indeed the B has a more open sound, which I prefer. I’m going B on my Fenders as well. Great bridge.
So have any of those NAMM basses popped up for sale yet? I understand Fretspot and Kurosawa picked up most of them, but they don’t seem to have listed them yet…
Both sounds really good but the Saratoga easily wins for me. Love that open tone.
I love them both, they go out on very different gigs. Ultimately the 534 is more flexible, but for gigs that need a Fender Like Object the Saratoga always wins
534: pickups in series rolled all the way towards the neck, bass and minds boosted a hair, and tone rolled off a little.
Saratoga: sameish eq setting but rolled slightly to the bridge.
I should have noticed the switches. So, you have the passive Super pickups in the 534. With pickups in series, panned to the neck and tone rolled off some I would expect the 534 to sound darker and not all that open.
What if you opened up the tone control and centered the pickups on the 534 and ran parallel?
