Well first off, its 32" scale. Semi-hollow. Has a definite Gretsch feel. Plays very much like my Gretsch Thunder Jet 6128. It's not like a thick body Gretsch. If I recall correctly its around 2". I'm not crazy about the back of the neck as it has a gloss finish, but there's no way I'm taking scotch brite pad/steel wool to this.
They're discontinued. @John Backlund might be able to direct you toward one though he hasn't been on TB since January.

It's not "red" like you would automatically think if you heard the word red, but there's definitely a red aspect to it. It was actually supposed to be "Mocha" like the classic early/mid-'70s brown Fenders, but turned out like this, which I like - it's more like "Root Beer" or "Dr. Pepper". The humbucker is NOS in the original box (which I foolishly lost) - the one that came with the bass was long gone when I got it. Dual mono outputs - the output jack plate is from a Rickenfaker. It had a Bada** II bridge when I got it - this is an MIJ from the mid-'80s.

But it's technically probably not red so I'll stop talking about it.

Hello Red&Maple lovers! This is mine. Harley Benton PB50. Brand spanking new, inspired by a fifties Fender of course. I'm not sure about that pickguard, I find it overly white so I may yet do something about that.

This bass gets a lot of playing time as it's the one I use in my band. For this, it received a D-Tuner.
