Don't let the $210 price tag of the Yamaha fool you
Hey, my best bass was $130. The bass I have that cost the most ($600) is the one I play least.

Here are 3 of my Fender Mike Dirnt signature models. Im not a huge fan of Green Day or anything..... but Mike Dirnt is a great player and his sig model bass has a great vintage vibe and feel. I have also done some custom work on the 3 shown here. I have another one that is in parts and getting a paint job. Should have that one done and ready to play in the first part of the new year.

What's the head mounted on your Hartke cab?
Are you kidding me!?
I always wanted all three, but I onlt got the squier.
I wanted:
Black one made into a P/J
White one with black pg and made into a P/P
and the burst one with a tort pg and made into a MB/P
MB=mudbucker
I hate you!!!!
One question, is the burst a tobacco or 3 tone? It says tobacco on the site but every one that dirnt plays himself you can clearly see the red.
The only 2 basses I've ever wanted really really bad for ever (often I want something bad but then decide it sucks, this has never happened with these two basses) is the dirnt and the hoppus.
One in every color of each, of course, and a extra dirnt to paint shill pink.
BTW How are the 59' pups in that bass? They are nice but I've never played a real dirnt. And hows the neck? I hear it's abnormally thick, like the CS 59, is this true? And I've heard about warping problems in the neck, have you had any?
Thx dude!
I hate you!!!!
---thanks...........

---its 2 tone (no red) i dont know much about Mike Dirnt or look at him at all, but im sure he has basses that look like this but are of much better quaility. errhhh prob like real 59 fenders and such.

--- the stock pups have been taken out of all my Dirnt basses. not that they we bad or anything i just didnt care for them.

---ya all the necks on the thez are a little bit dif from each other. the black one (my fave) has a really think CS (chunky) and the others are a lil smaller but still think. i like it alot. at first i hated it, but after a few gigs i havent went back to my USA p-bass. ive been gign with the sunburst one at this time, really like it alot also. as for the necks warping, the black and SB ones are great no issues at all. but the vintage white one seems to have a twist about half way into the neck on the G string side. prob just needs an adjustment?
should have a white one up here soon!!! make you hate me even more i guess.
cheers & happy holidays!
codsack, you have one of the coolest Fender collections here on TB! Any chance of a family pic?
Thanks Crawford! Actually I sell vintage fenders as a sideline to my day job.I'll try to get em all together but it will be when I get some time off.It will be quite a shot![]()
