Here is the latest picture of a P-bass I'm building, or rather assembling!
I just need to strip it all down now, choose a colour and spray it. It has a mirror scratch plate as it was going to be a kind of Steve Harris clone but now I'm not so sure.
I love the SH bass but I'm wondering what other colours would look good with a mirror plate and a maple neck...

Pretty crappy compared to some of the basses on display here, but I loves it

Crappy? Dude.... the SR line is one of the best production line ever. And in the older SR's, pretty much the only difference in the model numbers was electronics and occasionally the build quality (now they are starting to use mahogany, bubinga, jatoba, ash, etc. on some). If you think the 300 isn't cutting it, install better pickups and electronics. Take pride in that beauty; I'm looking to get me an all black SR as well :D
