Oh and... it needs optamas gold strings or the randy jackson sig strings. Total ownage
me? including the (not pictured) 4's that i haven't played since '93 (a 77 jazz, a 73 ric 4001, an early 80's pedulla fretless, and an old hondo alien kramer duke copy) that'd make 17. and a classical guitar.
of course, that's counting both doublenecks as single instruments. otherwise it'd be 18 and 2 guitars
.I was surprised on the tone I thought it was going to be mhhm ok but man it's actually amazing , it has a little bit of a neckdive so im going to move the strap button to the neck plate on the back but besides that it kicks asss.
Okay, I've got one more bass to add. It's a Yamaha RBX250 that I've been renovating for a while. And finally, just this morning, I completed the projects! It's now got EMG Select pup's, Fender chrome tone knobs, and I did my first de-fretting job on it!

The black Wal I just got a few weeks ago, and the other one I picked up in '08 (I had to restore it). Oh yeah killer basses for sure.

Probably flats eventually, but for now the strings I've got on it seem to work pretty well (they were stock strings that came with my Traben Chaos 5.... minus the B string)
Say, is this fretboard naked enough for the Nekkid FB club?
No, this is the only one I have seen lately that has the '70s style logo. I have seen others before, but say, '72-74 models have the old plain looking logos.

What gauge? I have the heavy gauge on my tele/precision. I love em, feel of flats (without the drag) with the sound of rounds. Best of both worlds.
There are some conflicts but here are mine or some of them were mine
I will always have a place in my heart for those 1980's jazz bass specials. That's how I really got into Gn'R, I was googling the bass (cause I thought it looked cool) and then I came across duff.
If that is in fact what they are then you have just solved a minor mystery for me, haha. Those are the same strings that were on it when I bought it back in '05. I love the feel and tone of them so I've just never felt the need to change them out.
