I like the natural pbass there.

Mine? It's a franken P with DiMarzio pickups, a Squier neck, and a Saga body. Sounds as good as it looks.

I'm not doing rocket science - just trying to build cool toys and take a few good pics of them. Just going with what "works" I guess.

Love the jet king. Played one at gc once. What a great bass IMHO.

Some friends say it is made is Japan around 60's? Can this be?

Your bass is a mid 60's Teisco Del Ray NB-4 that has had the headstock reshaped.

The original headstock looked like this -
