Two almost Identical Kawai RB865A's. (Red one has an on/off switch because it ate batteries really fast)

My "others" are in the "shop" awaiting modifications. I can rebuild them, ... buuuut I don't want to spend a lot of money.

Is the CT reeaaly 38" scale ? not 36" ? thats crazy. the only one i heard of that long is his own personal bass... how do the strings feel, are they really tight ?

HAHA! TGTTM and T&E are my favorite.

Yes, it reeeally is a 38" scale...his bass is the bass I'm talking about! His green poplar fretless is 38" - it took about 15 seconds worth of playing it to realize I needed one. It feels like a "real" instrument, and not like (to use a Carl term) "a de-tuned banjo," hahah. String feel / action is great...it plays awesomely!!!

After being here for about a week now, I think its time to say hello.
I am from Vienna, Austria and currently own just one bass, because I have sold the whole rest that I accumulated in the 15 years I have been playing now.

Thi bass is the first I ever owned, and I will most likely never sell it for crazy sentimental reasons.

It is a Hohner B-Bass V

Yeah, I know it's weird to be buying stuff when I can't play, but I had been stalking it for a year and finally said, "what the hell".

I don't feel any appreciable difference in the neck sizes, but the specs say different. The Ibby is 38mm at the nut. The Luna is 1-5/8" (41.275mm). You have some crazy good eyes!

Wow, thanks for the link! :) Interesting...sounds a bit like my Cort Artisan :) The bass is quite a looker, and coming to think of it, I can't remember of any bass in the same price range that has such a huge abalone inlay ;) Really stunning!

Don't worry, I buy online (so without testing first) most of the time 'cause there ain't many guitar shops around these parts so yeah, I know exactly how it feels, hehe ;) Plus I made enough purchases due to sudden GAS attacks to know "resistance is futile" :)

As for the Ibby, let's say that I've played enough of them to know the neck dimensions by heart, it's easy to spot the differences once you get acustomed to their specs ;) I asked just to make sure I'm not seeing things, hehe, 'cause I find the situation a bit funny... as you probably know, Luna is advertised as a bass specially built for the people with small hands, that need a light bass with a super thin neck...but it seems they can't beat Ibanez when it comes to narrow necks, hehe! I owned an Ibby SR400PB and I could swear that neck was even thinner than the one on my SR500, in spite of having the exact dimensions ;)

Anyway thaks for all the info & have fun playing those cool basses! ;)

So this was my uncles friends, it now belongs to me. I don't know much it's a 50th anniversary fender p bass made in America, the pickups are different others ive seen. Could anyone tell me what I have?

It's an "old" Fender American Deluxe P-Bass. Slimmer body than a regular P, active electronics and double Jazz pickup at the bridge, as you can see ;)

What does the serial number start with? Should be N with 2 numbers or Z with 2 numbers.
