Thanks, it is most certainly pretty but, she is not a Ritter. I really wanted a Ritter Cora, but did not have time to wait for the build. We were due to start our tour about 7 months before it could be ready, so I had one "ghost built". It is a quality instrument that shares the same body shape, woods, sizing, approximate weight, wooden pick up covers and a few other features as a Ritter, but I distinctly designed some "tells" in case it were to be stolen it could not be passed off as a Ritter and would be easier to track down. 1) The truss rod cover is a different shape and unsigned. 2) Jens uses very distinctive ferrules for a top loading design. I use a through body design. 3) I had the input jack moved to the front of the bass, strat style. 4) I had the builder sign the cavity covers and then laminate over it.

The fact that you specifically designed it to *not* be a Ritter clone makes it even that much cooler! +1000

About how much did that cost you, and can you put me in touch with your builder? I have an original design I could really stand see come to life. It's for a semi-hollow 6-string guitar, though, and not a bass...
