Just got my third Iturra. This one may or may not be the first Fanned Frets bass ever made in Chile.

^THAT. IS. INCREDIBLE.

Such a beautiful instrument. Hope it sounds as well as it looks.

Usually not a fan of gold hardware, but that thing looks sharp.

Love the fanned frets. Gonna have to give them a try sometime.

Anyway, great bass. Have fun with it, and PLEASE take care of it!

My Fender Jazz, and my wife's Ibanez SR-700. Yes, we have two bassists in our band. We have not yet worked out a song where we both play. We take turns being lead vocalist and bassist.

Sometimes I play acoustic guitar, and keyboards, as well. She takes some songs off, as she is our sound person. We don't like splitting the money with too many people.

That Jazz looks sick, details?

It's a bit of a Frankenbass. A guy bought a Squire, and replaced the neck with a genuine Fender Custom Shop natural maple, installed the EMG Select passive pickups and Badass II bridge, tortoiseshell pickguard and thumbrest and sold it to me on eBay for $250.00.

It plays and sounds like a dream!

I told him I thought I basically stole it from him. He said he was glad I liked it, because he was going to part it out if no one bought it.

It's the nicest bass I've played in my life, including the Rickenbacker I had in the seventies, (not that I could play back then.) I have just put some Black Beauties on it, and gotten the action just where I like it, and we are ready to rock with our new drummer, who is amazing. (he's on the right, in the photo.)

I bought that Ibanez SR700 for my wife for her Christmas/Birthday/Anniversary present. She was playing an old Washburn, that as far as I was concerned, was total ****.

We got the best gear in town, man!
