Fender MIJ 62 Pbass body loaded with Nordstrand PJs and Status neck (the body came from my first ever bass.) Strung with DR Sunbeams (40-100.)

Warmoth Thunderbird body (mahogany with cocobolo top with matching knobs) loaded with EMG PJX set (wired 18v) with Fender MIJ 62 Pbass neck (originally from the black body above.) Strung with DR Sunbeams (45-105.)

Rickenbacker 4003, Blueburst. Stock save for the treble bezel. Strung with DR Hi-beams (40-100.)

Fender American Deluxe Pbass V with Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. Strung with DR Sunbeams (45-130.)

Fender Mark Hoppus sig with Fralin pickup, stacked volume/tone control, deluxe Fender bridge and F-stamp neck plate. Strung with Chromes (45-100.)

I'm a pretty happy chappy right now :D

EDIT: And that's a Gibson '67 reissue Flying V in the background with Bareknuckle pickups.
 
This came today. Merry Christmas to me! Can't wait to get her set up and playing right.

Created this Artwork late last night.
Took the image from the for sale thread and tweaked it QUITE a bit in photoshop.
It is of the US 44-07 I just bought.
Hope ya like the holiday Art :)
Wish I did this in time to make christmas cards.... maybe next year :)

Yea, that one laying across the bottom must be the one for metal band. ;)

I see that mandolin and I wonder if one could be re-worked as a Pocket Octave Bass. :p :D

A mandolin basically is a pocket bass. Same four strings but instead of the order from top down being eadg its gdae. It's like playing a upside down bass. Its a fun thing and it makes me rethink the whole note lay out on the neck. Kinda cool.

And the real axe is what happens at the renaissance festival when I've had to much meed and have just gotten payed. LOL.:D "Look babe I bought a AXE" ...........
