Duct tape and bottle openers? Now I feel silly posting a "serious" picture but I guess this is the "official" place so here goes...
In the "more than anyone wanted to know" department (left to right)...
Allen Woody (with Allparts saddles to lower the action and GHS flats)
P-BO (Affinity Squier with Artec mudbucker & Dimarzio Willpower middle also aftermarket tuners and bridge)
Stingray HH BFR w/ Ash Body, Birdseye Neck & Ebony Board(with clear pickguard and control plate removed & EB Group I flats + Hipshot Xtender)
J-BO (VM Jazz with Artec mudbucker, Dimarzio Area J's Babicz bridge, Wilkinson Tuners & EB Group II flats + Hipshot Xtender).

New guy here, thought I'd share my baby from back in the day. I purchased this new back in 1984 (if I recall properly). Still in pristine condition.

Hi there,
I've had this bassguitar since the early 80's, it was a gift from my father, and it's been hiding in my cellar for decades. I am wondering what model this is, i found some models on the internet, but they all have 'cateyes' soundholes. Mine doesn't. Does anyone know what model this is and what year it was build ? The only thing it says on the guitar is Klira and made in Germany. I always like it because Paul McCartney had a similar shaped model.
I must add, i am not a bassplayer and don't know much about them, so any help is appreciated.

It is all in your technique.....my technique is called "storage!" LOL
Except for a 1 year "let's get the band back together" tour in 1995, the bass has basically sat in storage since 1988.
That's cool. I took a 25 year music slump
while I raised two boys.
