Yes it is a 70's RI P ,had it for around a month or so and no longer touch my Jazz,Sorry I dont have any scales but it is a lot lighter than the 2005 MIA Jazz,and thank you.Unsure of cab weight either but its a fantastic Cab.

I just finished putting this one together. It turned out so nice I'm not sure I can sell it. It's a brand new, never played 2010 American Standard P, blizzard pearl, with the most beautiful, next to perfect, 1979 fretless neck. I just ordered a custom solid piece walnut pick guard. I'm not sure how that will look but I'm hoping it will class it up just a bit.

My only two basses left. I went through many, many basses in the past and then just decided to slap these together. They're nothing special, but play pretty well.

Cost for each bass was about $400-$450. Went with cheaper hardware since I could never tell the difference anyway. As long as the bridge and tuners stay in tune...I'm good to go.

J is Mighty Mite neck and body with Dimarzio Js.
P is Mighty Mite neck and MIM Fender body with 62 vintage PUs.

How many precisions does it take to fill up a show us your basses thread?
Well, there must be millions of them in circulation and if you've seen one you've seen em all, so who knows. There's enough here to last several lifetimes though. yawn:rolleyes:
All those people with bad backs and dead legs. So sad.

PS: I play a heavy-as-all-get-out 5-string P-bass, and I have chronic lumbar pain and a bum knee. Gotta represent. :p

Listening to recordings of my MV4-HPJ from a few years ago, I really missed that Precision sound on certain tunes, so I succumbed to the G.A.S.
