I decided to change my controls a bit. I took out the blend pot and replaced it with a 3-way toggle switch. I also replaced the boring plain black Vol and Tone knobs with abalone inlaid knobs, which match the abalone dots on the fretboard. I am pretty pleased with the look of it.

Yesterday I found myself a long sought of Ibanez Roadstar 840 BK. The quite rare fretless version of the Ibanez Roadstar 824 I have.
What an instrument! It's completely original and after 33 years the fingerboard still is impeccable!
Just needs some TLC in the hygienic dept. And some new tonepots.

Eyecandy! ;-)

Here are the 2 I have at the moment. My new Fender Sting and the VM Jazz. Although the jazz is for sale so I hopefully won't have it much longer. It's a great bass but now that I have the bass I want. I'm looking for a better amp.

Hi all,

After a twenty something year hiatus, I have returned to my favourite instrument. Here's a shot of the guitar I purchased to start playing again. a '91 (I think) Fender Precision + (the Boner Bass). I am looking at envy with the great gear you are all using and trying to figure how to justify some more purchases to the Minister for War and Finance..
