A couple of things have changed over this past year or so.
After several basses passing through my front door I have arrived at what I think are "keepers" in every sense of the word.
A 2014 Fender Standard Precision and a 2013 SBMM Ray34CA.
Both were received as trades and both have far exceeded my expectations. Sterlings seem to get a bad rap around here and maybe what I ended up with is an exception because, in my opinion, it's a fantastic bass with loads of tonal possibilities. Between it and the Precision, I do not need or want anything else.
