The thing it makes me think about it how it impacts the "real estate" between the neck heel and bridge... That and balance.

Not much really - I had a 24 fret short scale and it's no longer than a 20 fret ss.

LOWE CUSTOM GUITARS

Really neat and unique bass. 34"scale (although he does them in 32" too IIRC) loaded with Fralin Split J pickups and an active/passive system. Really nice voicing in the preamp.

Pawlaunia body with a Birdseye maple neck,/board. Super light at 7 lbs 2 oz.

Brad is a regular here so hit him up. He makes smoking basses and guitars.
