Thanks! I was worried about weight when I bought it but it's manageable...not much heavier than my J or P, and lighter than my Stingray.That looks beautiful!!

Just wired and assembled this up yesterday. 30 scale bass vi.
So.
Bass VI w/ and aluminum neck *and* Fishmans???
Looks sharp as heck, how does it play?
yup it's baguley neck 30 scale with fishman Abasi's, push pull tone control and a emg presence mid control. It plays like a bass vi and It's amazing. I love the thin profile on the neck and the fishman work really well especially the single coil voices. Only downside is it's heavy and does have neck dive. I don't personally notice when playing but it will sink a bit when letting go.
If it the dive isn't too bad then it's nothing a nice wide, friction-y strap can't help!
How are you liking that TC amp set up?
Absolutely loving it! I'm going to find another power amp to play with as well. Probably an older Euphonic Audio iamp or a Genzler Magellan 350, something of that nature. I picked up the little Bam200 for the time being and it's a great little transparent sounding amp. Has the DI if I need it for a larger venue.

I know I can't afford a real 58/59 goldguard P. But finally this one came together with the arrival of a nice 76 Jazz width neck married to a 68 body I've had kicking around for a while...I had a roadworn neck on it for a couple of weeks than a friend found this 76 one for me. Such a great tone with the help of the anodised guard.
