Added an Ernie Ball Music Man Sabre from 1987 to my stable. Here is 1/3 of my collection. Working on getting a full family photo soon!

  1. 1979 Ibanez Studio ST-924
  2. Bordwell Dola 5
  3. 1976 Hagstron H-II BN
  4. 1987 Ernie Ball Music Man Sabre

Empty spot, time to shop :smug:

A Danelectro Longhorn and a Sire D5 are on order as we speak! My Gibson has bright rounds and sounds super hot. Ya'll know what the Viola sounds like. I swapped out the tuning machines and put LaBella flats on it.

So I'm getting the D5 because I need that low P-bass thump and I love Sire guitars. And I'm getting the Longhorn because I fell in love with the Viola's short scale and I wanted a short scale with rounds. Plus that bass is just freaking cool!

Just got this back from the shop. Replaced the TV Jones SuperTron with a Novak DS/BS and moved it a little towards the neck. Right in the middle of a conventional split P pickup. Wow what an improvement!View attachment 5361183
That just broke my covet meter. Needle bent all the way around the stop with a puff of burnt electronic go-bot fart smell. So cool.
