The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

WOW! What a coincidence! I sold mine in 2015. It's the one bass I sold I regret the most. :crying:

The Tokai and Aria make up for that, but still...

They were well-made, affordable (I got mine for $450, brand-new, with that old brown case which looked like it held a big chain saw?), and (to my mind) sounded and played better than my 7ender P-Bass (1972 model).

For a while, a few years back, I couldn't find one used for under $2K

Here are my bass guitars. they are both Glarry. They are cheap, (each under $100), but they don't sound bad. What do you all think of that brand? Someday (when I have more money) I'd like to trade them for a classic vibe P and 5 String Jazz bass.
If you like them, then that is it. trade you will loose money, just keep and mod while you save for the others... enjoy.

Love the cat! Had one looking like that who lived to be 22 years old!

Oh, nice bass by the way ;)

That's awesome! She's only 3 but I had one just like her through grade school and college who lived to be 19. They're great cats.

Here is our other cat with 3 recent rescues: 2 stray kittens we took in from the freezing temps last month and a recently acquired '95 Ibanez ATK300 with a rats nest of wiring that I'll be fixing up soon

Love me some old school ATK

Nate Mendel signature P bass + Fender satin roasted maple Jazz neck = yes please.

I got a ridiculous deal on the loaded body and then an equally ridiculous deal on the neck so I grabbed some Mike Dirnt roadworn tuners and now have what would be my ideal P bass. Also there was a cat.

P-basses with J-necks are the perfect combination for me!
Good on ya for fostering the kitties. We do it for bichons. Saddest happy day ever when they go to their forever homes.

Yessir. Just 50 watts. Great for small bars.
For bigger gigs I use a Peavey Mace 160 watt tube head with a Yamaha PA cab with 15", 8" and tweeter.
Very heavy cab, but sound to match. I got two of them for even bigger gigs or demolition works. ;)

Just wondering - is that Peavey head a bass or guitar head. And if guitar, did you have to change any tubes to use as a bass. Thanks

Perfect p bass with perfect neck IMO. It will play like a dream and roar a lot. Congrats !
