About the neck: yes, because it's roasted maple. I admit I wouldnt mind if it were a bit lighter in color but I still like it though. Roasted maple should be a bit stronger than the regular maple necks. Also, yup, a Stingray should be in pretty much every bassist's arsenalHey, is this intentionally treated wood supposed to have this neck color? This, as I see it, is probably some new fashion and way for today's guitars...?
I don't know if it's good or bad, but I'd rather have it in the back of my mind that no one fried my guitar on a grill or gave it steroids to make it grow faster.
I also think that every bassist should have at least one Stingray...
