Thanks muchly! Here is some more of the wainscot, on the other side of the room, shortly after the gut renovation.
Is that finish chequing, ro something else. Looks really cool.
I put one of those Schaller 3D bridges on one of the 1972 Jazz Basses I used to have (several other mods were done to that bass by me, also). The bass is now with a longtime friend.

I'm a fine artist and retired Decorative Artist/Designer related to interiors so my eye is drawn to such. Beauty.

Thanks, yes - the Burgundy Mist Metallic finish is in nitro and has chequing. The '80s Schaller 3D roller-saddle bridge (still available today) is maybe my most favorite bass bridge design. Every aspect was considered and incorporated. And knowing your bass preference - they installed them on some later Ric's from the factory correct?
What year is your Jazz Bass?
Yeah, RIC use the 3D bridge on the 4004 series after there was an interuption in supply of the ABM briges they were installing at first (I think ABM went out of business for a few years). RIC also used the 5-string version on the recent 5-string basses they made (not sure if those basses have been discontinued or not).

It's a highly modified 22fret Gen1 American Standard ("Longhorn") from '93. The body & neck are the only original parts. Upgrades include; Deluxe Schaller F-stamped tuners & Fender A-string restraint, Nordstrand NJ4 pu's, custom-cut mint pearl pg, Schaller 3D bridge and an early '90s Kubicki-Fender 9v pre & side mounted barrel jack. Chambering under the pg and relic'd BBM finish by MJT, further distressed by me to tip my hat to Guy Pratt's "Betsy".

I take it you've seen the bass that PW made for Kenny Howes a few years ago?
I could never buy that many basses...not all at once at least.
I’m mainly a short scale player. I got a great deal on a Gretsch Junior Jet with intention of making it into a bass VI. I liked the original so much I kept it stock. I then found another at an even a better deal. Conversion made. Changed the bridge, nut, and tuners. Controls
are now master volume and tone for each pickup. Lots of fun tone variations.

Thanks and all but my A/E gets played at my gigs through rotation. Nothing collects dust
BTW these are all in the order they were purchased and or were given to me
