Sweet collection!View attachment 7190537Rick 4003SW, Fenders: 1992 Prophecy III, American Ultra PB, 2008 American Deluxe PB.
How would you describe its character sonically?Added some G&L MFDs and a v1 Badass bridge to my aluminum necked Mendel P

Very cool, reminds me of Vantage and Vester basses from the 90s but with the pointy hockey stick headstock. I really dig the P/Dbl J pickup configurationJust found this Fenix by Young Chang Jackson-lookalike bass, secondhand for cheap.
Pots are a bit dusty, and it needs a replacement knob, but man, this one sounds really good.
Gonna need to clean up the electronics, and fix that knob, but it plays really well.
The switches are pickup selectors and a series/parallel switch for the bridge pickup, if I'm correct.
Couldn't find any information online.
The previous owner had it in storage for decades, and told me he bought it in the early '90's.
Don't know if I'm about to modify it to fit F#BEA-strings, yet, but maybe in the future.
Tuning it to drop A might be another option.
Cool headstock. It's sorta Parker Fly meets Kay Old Kraftsman

It's a great sounding P. The Mendel body is gloriously resonant, it pairs well with the also very resonant metal neck. How would you describe its character sonically?
Nice collection!I've recovered the only bass I've ever regretted selling, MIK Ibanez ATK-405. This is my stable now.

Nice. I've owned both of those (plus a few other Jazz Basses).
