It's been years since I posted in this thread, so why not? I've got at least 3 basses that have never been posted in here.

First, a family photo.

Next, my Nordstrand Nordy vJ5 that I bought about 3 years ago. Been wanting a Super Jazz 5 ever since I sold my Pedulla Rapture J2.

And finally, just arrived today, and throwback to my younger years, Westone Pantera.

The Gretsch G5440LSB and G&L Kiloton Fretless are the newest family members. I love all of these but the red 2011 Fender American Special Precision with black pickguard is my definitive #1 (the same bass but white pickguard stays tuned to Eb ... so I can justify having both ... ha!)

Now that's a beauty! I've been gassing for a 4 string for awhile now. Love the white pups with the white pick guard. The sparkles and gold hardware are just the cherry on top. Cheers!

Me too! First thing I did when I bought it after listening to the underwhelming stock pups was throw some duncs in and change out the pots. Couldn't be happier with it now. Most of my previous basses have been right around that sub 1000 $ price point. I'm really impressed with the hip shot hardware. The tuners and bridge are by far the nicest I've ever had on any bass I've owned.

I went the extra mile and added a Bartolini preamp. This is my favorite bass of the ten I own. The build quality is exceptional. And you have to love the birds!

Just realized that you are the reason I put the pickups i did in my PRS. When I was looking for a suitable replacement I came across one of your posts in a thread here on TB. Lol! That's a cool truss rod cover btw.

My just 28.6" scale 5 string Ibanez GSRM25 Mikro Bass, tuned to tenor bass, G# standard, tuning, as in one half step bellow the upper 4 strings of a 6 string bass in B standard tuning, and then a high E:

Added the Fender A string guide with the std Fender string tree
Warmoth trans orange precision body. Aftermarket dark tort pick plate
Small chrome knobs. Albright matte bridge and Schaller strap lock buttons
