These two Fenders look fantastic ! Are they original or refinished ?
Are there others pictures of these basses on TB ?
Both refinished many moons ago

Mi colección actual de bajos: un Ibanez K5 con puente y clavijas Hipshot, y mi nuevo Sterling Ray 24 en blanco olÃmpico. Pronto llegarán más bajos.

Love this project, it sounds incredible and plays out perfectly but it is a diver. I mean look how far away the upper bout is lol. Still it has the toan so for tracking yeah and its the one ready and waiting.
Is your Fender intimidated by all those Gibson/Epiphone basses?Haven't been on here in awhile

That is a lovely colour.View attachment 7368659View attachment 7368660
Finished this one tonight. It was my first attempt at building a bass. It has an Allparts neck, BYO Swamp Ash body, ESP bridge and Fender tuners and pickguard. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 and I used CTS pots, Sprague cap and a Switchcraft jack. Currently strung up with D'Addario Chromes but I don't know if I love them yet. Might switch to Elixir NPS or DR Legend Flats.
Also, I sprayed the body with nitro. That stuff was wicked to work with! Even outdoors with a mask on, I thought it smelled like cancer. Not sure if I'll use it again. The neck is finished with oil-based polyurethane and it feels very nice. Not sticky like the nitro necks I have played.
