Very cool! I just got my first Status neck (fretted) last week and ordered my body today, so I'm about a month or so out from having it assembled. Can't wait!!

here are my moddified basses... cirrus has added on/off switch with led, cort has schaller bridge pickup and bartolini ntmb 918f electronics, millennium has basslines sjb2 pickups, artec exp electronics with added series/parallel switch and gold hardware (original was black)
and a combination of yamaha rbx250f fretless neck on a ibanez atk400 body with added active pasive switch...

They make killer necks. Up there with the very best. Love the warmoth body profiles too. Make sure to post pics of your build when it's done.

Here are a few current ones I'm caring for! 1964 Black Fender Jazz, 1973 Teak topped Alembic, 2008 Stanley Clarke Alembic Sig Dlx originally built for and owned by Tom Blankenship of My Morning Jacket, and a 1980, ultra rare Veillette Citron 8 String - Kasim Sultan used one of these on Fame with David Bowie. My band and basses can be seen on YouTube by searching for B Side Bandits. I'm a singing bassist with a love of Steely Dan, Sting, Elton John, Tom Petty, The Doobie Brothers and many more. it's factory stock... I was about to sell it and just out of curiosity tried fretless neck from an old Yamaha. I quickly changed my mind
and it's beautiful aswell

That fretless has the most gorgeous, unusual woodgrain. I checked out your music site...very impressive work sir. I was really diggin' it. Do you guys tour as well?

My collection L to R.
2014 Squier Affinity Jazz Custom. Full Shielding, Duncan Designed Pickups, tort pickguard, Squier Classic Vibe 60s high mass bridge. Strung with Fender factory strings.
2002 Ibanez SR480. Dead stock, including the original strings.
2015 SX Ursa 1 P type bass. New this week, only mods at this point are changed strings to D'Addario EXL170s.
1993 Ibanez SR500, maple body in clear gloss, custom with EMG Active pickups, and strung with D'Addario EXL170s..

That puts me with all 4 stringers, a Jazz, 2 PJs, and a P only. I am giving serious consideration to selling the SR500 and picking up a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass V Special in trans red... No issues with the Ibby, just want a 5 stringer, and don't really need 2 4 string active PJs.

Difficult to tour as the drummer is always busy with his other band. I might get something together for next year though. I'd love to take this on the road at some point.
