Here's my first attempt at building bass. Canadian maple neck with block inlays, Geddy Lee pickups, Fender tuners, bridge and controls and a mighty mite body. I'm just waiting for the string guide disc. I love the sound!

I LOVE that bass!! :D I really like those block inlays as well, love your taste! The color looks very nice and the no pickguard look is nice!

Thank you for the kind words Sir. I was really looking for a red Geddy Lee jazz bass but I heard Fender only made 100 of them. I thought about getting a black one and get it repainted but I was convinced to try building one. I'm glad it came out nice and to my liking. Thanks again!!

Just assembled - WD Fiesta red alder body, MM maple P neck, custom pg, Hipshot KickAss bridge, Fender Super 55 N pu/Dimarzio B pu, KellingSound push-pull mid-control tone pot, 80's Ibanez heart shaped tuners, AxeMasters compensated brass nut, rounds, inset Strap-Loks -

The most recent addition to my stringed family (ignore the red thingy, that isn't important). From what I've learned from the wonderful people here on TB, she is a pre 2012-13 Squier VM '70s Jazz Bass. She has a wonderful set of Duncan Designed pups, and I'm still searching for the right name for this 4-stringed beauty.
