Well I have had my Gamma Alpha for about 4 years I believe. Play it pretty much everyday even if it's for 15 mins
Love it.
I had a Pilot 4 string back in 84 I think. Black with full pick guard chrome hardware and Passive EMGS j/p set up.
I had to get rid of it and it was the bass I'd never get rid of....The other day I purchased a body beat to hell. Sanded it had a friend in Ca make a neck close as he could to the Pilot neck, threw some hardware and pups on it. I've played it at home but not at the studio yet. Sounds good to me. Here is a very used Gamma Alpha and my new FrankenPilot

Thanks! I fully expected to walk out of there with a 2018 model or that Mike Lull PT4...she just felt right.

Thank you. I've longed for a sunburst finish and gold anodized p/guard for ages, and to get it in a Fullerton that feels made for me...swoon!

It's LOUD. It needs a lot of EQ fiddling to get a solid tone but it's fine other than that. The 18 has a unique sound too and surprisingly a ton of mids and highs. I had the matching 4x10 to go with it but it went missing after a shady luthier business went under while he was supposed to be repairing a loose connection. Got them in 2004 and put in a lot of gigs with them and they never struggled a bit even in large venues with loud bandmates.

someone told me once about 20 years ago..want to know a good bass amp?...Carvin. I've never seen one either.
