Is that Jazz blonde or yellow? Hard to tell from the pic. Being somewhat colorblind doesn't help either..
That’s no Fender. It is a Fame Deuce. A special run of the in-house brand of musicstore in cologne. It was made my Majones in Poland. The quality and sound is outstanding.

2nd, is my Warrior DM5 which weighs in @ a shoulder loving 7+ lbs.
3rd, a Callowhill MDM5 tone monster. It’s loaded with Nordstrand PU’s, an Aguilar preamp & a Sadowsky preamp, along with passive mode! I was told Tim Cloonan built this one for Maurice Fitzgerald (has his name printed on the back of the headstock along with the serial #.
4th, is a 35” scale Devon 5 with a swamp ash body and Bartolini electronics. A highlight of this bass is the “rolled edges” on the fretboard. I love the feel of this neck!
5th, a Fender Deluxe Mexican 5 with the large pole pickups. Someone did a nice job of converting this bass into a fretless. I took it a step farther by applying a multi coat CA finish to the rosewood fingerboard.
Besides the Fender, all of these instruments have come from The LowEnd Bass Shop in Murfreesboro, TN. I love Brian’s used inventory which has allowed me to experience some outstanding basses the past few years!

It's an obsession with me. I've Modded all my instruments to some degree and 3 of them are parts Basses I put together. They all sound and play great. If I could find a CNC Mill cheap enough I'd really go crazy !

I love my Fender P's, although I do heavily customize them. Maybe the ease in doing that is part of the appeal ...
Anyway, the update for me is on both ends of the pic. The PJ on the far right started life as a Classic 50's P, swapped the maple neck for rosewood, added a J pickup, defretted the neck, regretted it (enjoy fretless, but simply never play one live), got a Precision Big Block, and swapped those necks ... phew. Lots of time and money wasted along the way, but had fun and learned a lot during the process..
L to R:
Big Block Precision body with fretless neck, '91 MIA Precision Plus with 2001 Deluxe neck, '09 MIA Standard P (added J pickup and TBX tone control), '12 Fender Standard P, '11 50's Classic body with Big Block neck. All but fretless have MJS Handwound Custom Pickups (passive).
Anyway, the update for me is on both ends of the pic.
