I have 3 Gretsch basses: 5442, 5123 and 6073.
I always wondered what that Gretsch ABG was like. Any feedback issues when plugged in? How versatile is the preamp?

thought everyone would like to see a picture of a buddy of mine from Nashville..Ed King formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd..he started as a bass player when Leon Wilkeson left the band..and then moved to guitar when Leon returned..this is a 58' precision..Ed was a member of Strawberry Alarmclock in the 60's....
well..I got lucky with this 2002 Keith Brawley bass..it was on craigslist for $175..I offered $140 and am now the new owner..original owner bought it new and never played it..this one is a neck thru with a flame maple top..3 band EQ..and a really sweet feel and sound..came without a case..but I bought a new case for it..

The Callowhill is super rare, especially since Tim's passing. The Hofner is a total surprise, $249... I popped Labella Flats and changed the nut and it sounds/feels like a german one!
My wife got me that for Valentine's day, now I need to shed Upright and get my head around bringing it to a gig.
I was at NAMM a couple months ago and they seem to be killing it, you might be thinking about the pro-audio split of Carvin. Totally different from the Kiesel gtr side.
