What's the deal with the white Thumb?
It looks like the top horn/cutaway was modified and reduced.

Got a soft spot for Peavey basses.

Yep, previous owner had mods done, for one painting it white. I presume the horn reduction was to address the typically horrible balance of Thumbs and gotta say it actually does tend to work out better standing or sitting.

Me and my guitar player both got Epiphone Korina Explorers today to use in our ZZTop Tribute Band, XYZZ Tribute. I was kinda worried about the girth of neck but, it feels similar to a P Bass in my hand. Sounds great on the front pickup also. Sorry about the quality of the image.
