I could look at the one in the middle all day... is that finish a blend of pearlescents or is it the lighting?

I think it's the finish not the light. A Spector model as far as i know.

Holoflash is a doable finish , I think they sell the stuff and instructions for the process . it's stunning under lighting . Chicks dig it

Beautiful bass. When looking at it sideways it looks lie a great white shark head. Amazing wood grain and colouring one of the nicest I’ve seen.

I remember series 10 being sold by small shops who couldn't get the big name brands. They were probably distributed by a St. Louis music or Kaman or similar company back in the day (late 80s? Early 90s?). I remembered them being ok for what they were. That price seems too high to me though, I don't think I'd pay more than $100, just my 2 cents...

Looks like they were a saint Louis music line, made by samick and Cort (which is right for the era). Probably decent but little resale value.

That's pretty much the market they were aimed at. The humbucker / P-pickup configuration is kinda cool, I don't suppose that GC is close enough for you to test drive it? If your looking for a player and not considering selling it in the future you might take the chance, you will have 45 day to return it. You could stalk it for 90 days and see if they drop the price. To bad they won't haggle anymore.
