That's a cool color. Like everybody else, I have a Bronco bass project going. :roflmao: I'm thinking I'll paint it Sonic Gray. :)

I have the Antique Olive as well and was thinking about a black pickguard. I'm curious to see how it looks once you install it! ;)

My gear.

I keep selling and buying basses. I’ve owned about a hundred. So no way of knowing how long these will last.

It’s costing me a fortune, but that’s only bothering me slightly:-)

It might have been the best bass I have ever had, but... the laminated neck was bothering me.
In the 20 years since the bass left the factory the different woods have started to “work”. I know KS lets the wood dry for a long time, but still..You could really feel well that it was 5 laminates pieces. It’s fixable (sanding and refinish) but I have no patience for that.

I will start saving to get me a brand new one. Might take some time.

You sure can’t tell it’s a Franken p. It’s seams if the all fender labels were to fall off. I at least wouldn’t be able to tell the difference in sound.i got a hard time telling difference between squires and fenders with eyes closed lol. Like em both. Yup That Schecter is nice , I got a buddy who will never part with his stiletto.i was eyeing up a Ltd 204 which was good. Amazing what is out there to gas about.

I pick up this bass every once in a while and it surprises me every time how good it is. The neck, setup, sound, everything is amázing. Especially when considering I paid only €400 for it. Put about the same amount of money in the electronics (Nordstrand and Aguilar), but still. Fantastic instrument.
