Hey I watched some YouTube vids on the Blade basses they got great soundI pick up this bass every once in a while and it surprises me every time how good it is. The neck, setup, sound, everything is amázing. Especially when considering I paid only €400 for it. Put about the same amount of money in the electronics (Nordstrand and Aguilar), but still. Fantastic instrument.

Real nice rigs and setupGot my latest bass, a Kiesel JB4 on the left. It came setup the way I like it, low action without fret buzz. It plays like butter and sounds great. Workmanship is flawless as well. You can't see it in the picture, but the neck and headstock are finished in birdseye maple.

I think I would go for the g&l cause that neck pickup may sound closer to a p-sound than the j-bass cause you definitely got the jazz sounds you need. But nothing else sounds like a p like a p does. That series switch on the neck pickup may be the ticket. IMOWhich would you choose? I think I got most tones covered now(still no P bass or fretless). My EBMM Bongo 5HSP is missing.
I love acoustics, Have you ever seen what dmytri Lisenko can do percussively on an acoustic. I wish I still had mine. I’d put some flats on it.
Wow that’s a collection
