The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

because i see so many nice one here so now i know i defenitely have to upgrade mine.
Do you mean setup like how your bass is adjusted or like all of the equipment you use? It can be shocking what a good tech can do by leveling frets and properly adjusting your bass. If you mean your gear then yes, there is a TON of eye candy on this forum. There are also quite a few posts about how great of a sound and playing experience people get out of inexpensive stuff. Don't get too much bass envy, just make sure you're happy with the way your stuff sounds and feels. Sure I'd love a Fedora & a couple Ken Smiths but my stuff sounds great and does what I need it to and that's just fine with me!

I second that, I just fell head over heels again for my Yamaha since putting flats on it. A little change can reignite the spark. I should be sleeping by now. Cause I work early but I can’t leave it alone. Lol

I added a P-bass to the collection.

NBD! That Antique Olive just wouldn't let me go. I traded 3 basses at GC. I might have gotten more selling on CL, but I just didn't want the hassle. I have a black pickguard and black screws, along with LaBella String Through Flats on the way.

I also received a Squier 2008 51 reissue body from a cat on this forum. I just need to find the right neck for it.

Love em both! BTW an MIM Cabronita neck or Dirnt will fit that LPB SCPB just ducky. I used Cabronita neck, tuners, and bridge from an MIM for mine. Enjoy that Am Pro!

Good to know. I found out the hard way that the Squier Cabronita's and Mike Dirnt's don't work on the Squier 50's CV bodies.

The MIM neck fit perfectly...used another MIM Cabronita neck, tuners, bridge for a RW Dirnt parts build, fit perfectly as well.View attachment 3080622
I'd love to get a real(MIM) Mike Dirnt. I have 2 Squier Mike Dirnt's (w/ Active EMG's) and love them. Do you know anything about that Stock Pickup that comes in the MIM Mike Dirnt ? Is it true that the only way to get that P Pickup is to buy a the Bass ?
Thanks

That's correct. My SB Dirnt has them, my RW parts one does not.
