My latest. Fender deluxe active jazz bass. Its a beauty. And it sounds great!
Got back into playing last November after 4 years off due to health issues. Doing 60s-90s material that the Precision bass is perfect for, so that's what I'm using. Have always liked the P sounds used by lots of bass players I listened to over the years.

doubles admirably as a camera tripod replacement.
L to R: Ric 4003, G&L LB-100 fretless, G&L JB-2 (US), G&L LB-100, Gibson Midtown, and a reclining Kay 162.
My favourites 5 string basses ever. Those are custom made Maruszczyk: alder body, maple neck and boards, 35" scale, P/JJ and P/M configuration, 3 band preamp.... I'm not afraid to say that the B string is really neat and the 35" scale really help with that. I love those!
The Surf Green has a more mids and sounds more "vintage" while the red (Dragon Breath as Maruszczyk calls it) is modern and punchy. I like both!
