I'm changing jobs in March and used that as an excuse to pick up this Taylor GSmini Acoustic Bass. It has a big sound from something so small. It can be plugged in too. I've been noodling on the couch with it.

I had it for two days, and it came out of the strap I bought, hit the tile and dented the corner of the headstock. It wasn't on the strap for 30 seconds. Poop. Still plays fine, it just got character before I intended.

At least I was sitting down. Could have been worse.

Some anti-real life stuff would be cool. You know, like cancer, starvation, genocide, etc. They probably make stickers for that kind of thing too.

So these three make the highest number of basses I’ve owned at once in over a decade. Dingwall gets nearly all the playing time on stage, acoustic actually gets played the most at home. Jazz is surprisingly nice for the money.

The pots are Sealed super pots , my new fav
Dunlop DSP250S 250k Solid Shaft Super Pot | eBay

and another new fav is the pure tone jacks . I love these things . They sit in the cavity a little better and they have a firm hold on the plug

The bass is the Wilkins , somehow a pot just went South for no apparent reason .

I like those lifetime Pots, they should be worth the $$ if they actually perform as advertised. The Jacks look awesome also but, I don't ever have any problems with switchcraft's and couldn't justify the cost of the Pure Tones myself.
What pickups are in your Wilkins and how do they fare ?

I didn't realize those Pure Tone Jacks came in a 3 pack. That's not bad at all. I try them, Thanks.

Pat used SPB1 in this and I think all "RT" basses , SPB1 are excellent pups but I put in my preferred SPB4 \m/

Okay, since you asked I only have rackspace for 12 in the studio and 8 in my office, so what's being played is out and others stay in the case until needed, and I've modded just about everything I own in one way or another... The acoustics are a different story and hang in another room.

How do you like your Epi Prophesy ? I have the same one and it's one of the few 6's I have left. Mine hasn't been out of it's case maybe a dozen times.
