Stambaugh’s are so cool. Wish I had enough $ for one...Here's my current stable:

- EBMM Valentine in Ivory White
- EBMM Cutlass in Starry Night
- Stambaugh ODB4 with Nordstrand Jazz Bars & 3-band preamp
- Stambaugh ODB4 with an Aero Split P Humbucker and East P-Retro preamp
- Stambaugh Fretless 5 with Bartolini Quad Coils, piezo bridge and Bart NTMB GFL+ preamp
- Stambaugh 5 with Nordstrand NP5 & BigSplitMan pickups and Pope Flexcore preamp

Price-wise my basses from Chris have been fairly close to the higher end MIA Fenders (Elites or American Originals) or EBMM Stingray Specials. Definitely not cheap, but I'd argue a real bargain for a completely handmade and completely custom instrument. A great bang for the buck luthier.
Doesn't stop me from wanting a Lake Placid Blue Fender Original 6o's Pbass or a Stingray Special 4H in Dropped Copper though!
