Here's my latest. Ibanez BTB846SC. I call it "The Great Blue Whale"

I call them "The Transplant Brothers". Squier Vintage Modified Jazz '70s and Squier Vintage Modified Precision Fretless. However, I wanted to try a fretless Jazz and a Precision with a Jazz neck. This was an easy switch and I think they both look good either way!

There is no J even though there is such a many basses.I feel your intention there. And I love RIC, I'm glad it is in the center.
I really like the feel of the Precision with the Jazz neck. And, I'm pleasantly surprised how nice the block inlays and the bound neck look on that body. At 8 pounds 8 ounces, it's fairly lightweight too.
I also think the black ebonol fretboard looks great on the natural Jazz with the black pickguard.
Both basses play nicely as well.

That's kind of the way I look at it. Just switch the necks back and VOILA! two different basses.

Just snagged a brand new ‘19 Squier Classic Vibe 70’s Jazz— been wanting a Jazz for a long while.

I recently sold my last Fender J, but if you look closer, you will see an Ibanez Musician that is a J technically, and the Kawai has a switch that makes it a J as well.
